  • Best for: Adult cats and very small dogs up to about 13 lbs — for example adult housecats, Chihuahuas, Yorkshire Terriers, and similar toy breeds.
  • How to check fit (quick):
    1. Weigh your pet — this door is recommended for pets up to ~13 lbs.
    2. Measure your pet's widest point (usually across the shoulders or hips). That width should be smaller than the flap width (7.5 in). For comfortable passage, aim for about 1 in of clearance (ideal maximum shoulder width ≈ 6.5 in).
    3. Measure shoulder height (floor to top of shoulder). If shoulder height is taller than the flap height (6.1 in), your pet would need to crouch to pass through; many cats can do this but most small dogs cannot.
