How to measure your dog and seat (2 minutes):
- Measure your dog’s length: from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.
- Measure chest girth: the widest part around the ribcage just behind the front legs.
- Measure your car’s back seat usable area: width (left to right across the seating surface) and depth (front edge to backrest).
If your dog’s length and chest are smaller than your seat’s usable width and depth and your dog is under ~35 lbs, the cover will fit well. If your dog is near the upper end of the examples above, compare measurements to be sure it’s roomy enough for your pet.
